how to get authorization token from jira using curl request to use for rest APIs
hi @mahrukh Rafique
Welcome to the community.
To call JIRA APIs using curl, you can use basic authentication.
Username: your cloud email address
Password: API token that can be generated from this link
Example below using CURL
curl -D- -u $USERNAME:$PASSWORD -X GET -H "Content-Type: application/json" https://egyptcommunity-dev.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/issue/CMP1-9
Good Luck and Let me know how it went for you.
Cheers,
Karim
