I want to remove the weekends, which are the days I don't work, from my timeline, to better define the deadlines for my activities, without adding more days that I won't be working on the project.

Hi @Ana Nobre

Welcome.

I expected you are referring to the board option Timeline.

If you are working in a Company managed project, on your board, select the 3 dots (top right hand) and configure the board.

Select working Days and choose the applicable days..

But I see what you mean, the days are still there in the timeline.

I don't think its possible to remove these in any way, this is built in.

Hi @Ana Nobre

Welcome to the community!

You can configure the working hours and days:

  1. Selecting your plan and ... located next to your plan name
  2. Click Configure > Working hours and days.
  3. Define the length of a working day.
  4. Define how many working days your plan will have in a week.

The documentation is here: Configuring working hours and days

It's also worth looking at the working days configured for your individual boards so the teams can see what's happening too. Read more here Configure working days

I hope this helps!

Best regards

Sam

Hi,
this option seems to only exist in the cloud version, I am not seeing an option to configure working days in data center.

Am I missing something?

Hi @Samuel Gatica (ServiceRocket)

thx for your answer.

I am not sure if I understand. Your link leads a documenation on agile board configuration. I understood that the inital question was about Advanced Roadmaps.

I also found this blogpost: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Advanced-planning-articles/Ending-support-for-the-Advanced-Roadmaps-Live-plans-Legacy/ba-p/1963824

-> It mentions the removal of Weekday configuration in favour of agile planning

Hi @Borris Tauber

It seems about Advanced Roadmaps by the mention of timeline, but is related to the board function "Time Line"

This can be used on Company Managed projects only and you can define working days

Plans (advanced roadmap) is useful for cross project, this function is for a single project only. And even only for the issues in the single project.
