custom filter

Hello, I have a project managed by the team. Create a custom filter with the following JQL query: project = Consultoria ORDER BY priority desc I expected cards to be displayed from this board in order of priority, from highest to lowest. But when you select the filter or frame it doesn't change. Can you help me by letting me know if I did something wrong or if I can display the items in priority order in some other way? Thanks

Custom filters on boards can only change the issues displayed to a subset of what was selected by the board filter.

You cannot use custom filters to change how the issues are ordered/sorted on the board. That is managed within the base filter of the board.

And for the built-in boards for a Team Managed project, the ordering is locked to Rank. You cannot change that.

You would need to create a separate agile board from a saved filter that uses your alternate ORDER BY clause in order to see the issues sorted differently. Note that in a board where the board filter orders issue by anything other than Rank, you will not be able to drag and drop issues to change the order.

1. From the global navigation at the top of the page, select the search field (or press /) and select Go to all: Boards. Then select Create board in the upper right of the screen.

2. Select the type of board you want. 
3. In the next screen indicate that you want to create the board from a filter
4. In the next screen select the filter you previously created, give the board a name, and give the board a location.
