Hi team,
Currently 1000+ users want to onboard out Jira. and we already have 1458 users
and sometimes we feel that Jira is quite slow.
Hence raise below question want to analysis the possibility of user increase.
1, how to analysis current Jira performance . such as IO, CPU or memory usage. want to know which part maybe the bottleneck for Jira performance , and if we can improve for that part.
2, is there any official advice on user number?
Hi @Mengmeng Yu
I hope you are well.
There are a some product documents that might be helpful on those subjects you mentioned.
Monitoring Jira:
Capacity planning (including number of users):
Performance troubleshooting:
If you find your environment is consistently slow for specific operations, you can also work with the Atlassian Support team to help you troubleshoot the issue.
Kind regards,
Thiago Masutti

Hi Thiago,
compared with performance testing.
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver0815/performance-and-scale-testing-1050547588.html
I think our bottleneck is not cpu and memory cause we are more sufficient .
however we sometimes get a long response time.
Our Jira is installed as cluster connecting to NAS
may I know would it be possible that NAS dirve cause the problem.
what kind of action would access NAS drive.
