can we auto assign a ticket based on the ticket type....or a selection of a field? so for example, issue type = A, assigned to ABC, but for issue type B, assigned to XYZ....or if not issue type then basis a field in the form
You could achieve this by using a specific component (automatically set on create) for each issue type and auto-assign based on component owner.
Alternatively, you could set the assignee in a post function: this would require using a different workflow for each issue type.
