assign default user specifically for bugs

Is it possible to set the default assignee for all bugs? We have a bug master and they are the first level of service for all bugs and it would be useful when anyone creates a bug that it auto assigns to the bug master

You have to adapt the bug workflow, to set the assignee to the bug master in the create transition (you can find this transition if you open the Open step). I suppose the needed postfunction ("Update Issue Field") exists for JIRA ondemand, but I don't know for sure.
