I would like to be able to send a customer ticket "to development" which will create a ticket in a development project and set the link to a specific type. I don't want the clone in the summary.
How can i do this?

You can use Automation for Jira:
1.When: Issue transitionated
2.Issue fields condition
3.Then: Create a new ( here you can select the project, issutype, and what fileds do you want)

Thank you but what is the transition... i want the support person to review the issue and make a choice to send to development - so need an action or something that they do to trigger
