Zephyr For JIRA Test Execution Defect Not Linking To Bug

I am in the process of executing my Zephyr test case that has 5 steps.  I went through the following steps:

1) Executed my test case.

2) Passed steps one and two.

3) Failed steps three.

4) Clicked on the "Crete Defect" button in step three.

5) Filled out create new "bug" issues and saved it.

I then went to the bug and noticed it was NOT linked to my test case.  Since I created the defect from the test step execution, I thought this link should have already been created automatically.

What am I missing here?  Is there a configuration I am missing here so the link is created from the test case to the bug automatically?

I am using JIRA Cloud.
