We have or Jira OnDemand synced with the latest version of Zendesk. Everything works fine but we tried to change the fact that always the issues are created with the same asignee (set as "Default Reporter" on the ticket sharing options).
We tried to disable the "Force Asignee" JIRA option and the we set to blank the "Asignee" field on the Zendesk-JIRA configuration. The thing is that now the sync is not working. The issues are not created. The solution is to get the mappings to work, but in this case is not working. We tried to map "Asignee" and "Agent asigned" but I don't know why the mapping is not working.
How can we get this working? We need to select project, type of issue and asignee on Zendesk.

I can't seem to find an answer for this, but the workaround we're currently using is to set signatures for all Zendesk agents. By doing so, Zendesk agents whose public comments are synchronized to JIRA will show with a personal signature identifying the Zendesk agent. (No luck yet with applying signatures to internal agents.)
