Would it be possible to add new status to the Next Gen project apart from the default ones

Hi All, I am looking for an option to extend my current status of the next Gen project.I didnt find any such option.

Could you please help me how can I do that.

Thank you for reaching out.

The statuses of a Next-gen project are explicitly related to the board columns of the project since workflows are not editable in Next-gen projects yet.

Basically, all configuration entities in next-gen (Statuses, Priorities, etc) are bound to a single project and are not sharable with other projects, as described in the article below:

That being said, to add new statuses to a specific Next-gen project, you just need to navigate to the project and, on the board view, click in the plus button (+) to add a new column. Consequently, you will create a new status:

P.S: The right-most column of the board will determine what is the final status of your issues in that project. Make sure you placed the correct one there.
