Hello,
When exporting data from Jira issues to Excel, the worklogs for issues (epics, stories, tasks) are no longer being exported.
Previously, I exported this data to retrieve the worklog.timeSpent
field and others.
The query I used is simple and worked perfectly until December:
resolved >= 2025-01-01 ORDER BY key ASC
The current export result looks like this:
Tipo de item | Chave | Story point estimate | Status | Atualizado(a) | Responsável | Registro de Trabalho.authorDisplayName | Registro de Trabalho.timeSpent | Registro de Trabalho.timeSpentSeconds | Resumo |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bug | HW4-1234 | 0 | Concluído | 02/01/2025 16:09 | Lucas | Refatorar Map e List de PlaceStore.lastTransmission | |||
Tarefa | HW4-1235 | 0 | Concluído | 02/01/2025 16:17 | Mauro | Acompanhamento Sprint |
Why has the export of worklogs stopped working?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Mauro Ransolin
I'm having the same issue. A simple query worked till end of last year and from January 2025 Log Work value is not available in excel. (Log Work values entered in 2024 are correctly exported, only logged work in 2025 is not visible.)
Wow, from one day to another it has been fixed. Probably there was a bug on Atlassian side. With no changes on my side (in jira query or excel-jira connection) this morning excel export contained the Log Work.timeSpentSeconds values.

Hi @ACD - Mauro Ransolin , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
You are showing here the Excel export, correct?
Do you see the data displayed in Jira? Please can you confirm?
I had seen some other posts about people having problems with the Excel extension https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221301/jira-cloud-for-excel-official?hosting=cloud&tab=reviews
Have you tried / can you try instead to just export as a CSV and open in Excel to see if that resolves the issue?
Please reply here if you have other questions or doubts.
Cheers
