Workflow Scheme Not Mapping to Correct Issues?

I don't want stories or bugs and would like to include standard issues types like I've setup on the right screen...initiative and technical discovery. Why are these not being mapped correctly?

Hi @Patrick Hendry

Please go to the Project Settings -> Issues -> Type and click Actions -> Use a different scheme. Than select the issue type scheme. Also change the Workflow scheme from Project Settings -> Workflows -> Switch scheme.

Perfect thanks!

Hello @Patrick Hendry

The screen on the right is from the Workflow Scheme configuration that is available to Jira Admins. That shows you how the workflow scheme has been configured globally and in that screen you have access to all Issue Types that have been defined.

In the left screen you see how that scheme is used in your InfoSec Vulnerability project with the Issue Types that are actually available to that project.

Based on that left side screen the issue types that are available to that project are Story, Bug, Epic, Task, and Sub-task.

The issue types available to a project are determined by the Issue Type Scheme that is associated to the project.

To change the issue types available to the project you need to either change the issue types in the Issue Type Scheme that is used by the project, or associate a different Issue Type Scheme that already includes the issue types you want.
