Will consider Jira support for MySQL8.0.

Deleted user December 16, 2019

Currently both confidence and bitbucket can run under MySQL 8.0. However, Jira does not currently support MySQL 8.0. When is it expected to consider supporting MySQL 8.0?

Hi @[deleted],

This is tracked in JRASERVER-67359 - Add support for Jira to use MySQL 8I would recommend watching that issue and clicking "This affects my team".  This will help Atlassian better prioritize it.

Best,

Hi @[deleted] ,

there is actually a request open to support MySQL 8 : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-67359?_ga=2.221094875.2102269737.1576426948-1867168444.1563630283

You can watch the issue so that you'll know when any updates are done on this.

Let me know if this helps,
