Hi, i'm using the Jira Cloud for Sheets and am trying to import stories into sheets but when I add fields such as Description and Acceptance criteria, no output comes.
Can someone advise on the fix for this ?
Hi @alvin_oh ,
There has been a recent change to Jira Cloud for Google Sheets & Jira Cloud for Excel by Atlassian. This seemed to have caused all sorts of side-effects that people have been reporting, basically making it unusable for some people. However, even before many user-reported issues and increased system unreliability. These tools are in maintenance mode and very low priority for Atlassian (background here).
If reliable exports are important to your business, we recommend to try our Google Sheet Integration / Excel Online Integration add-ons. They work fundamentally different by exporting directly out of Jira via API calls. They are much more reliable and used by the largest organizations. Exports can be one-time, scheduled, or real-time You can also export much richer data to create more sophisticated reports (for example Assets, Changelogs, Worklogs, Projects, Sprints, Users, JSM customers). Everything is directly controlled within Jira. Give it a try.
Kind regards,
The Mobility Team
Hi @MobilityStream ,
While I appreciate you sharing me on the background here for the Jira Cloud for Google Sheets deprecation & the recommendation -Google Sheet Integration / Excel Online Integration , I would kindly like to enquire further:
Thus, I'd kindly appreciate if the team to take a look into just fixing the bug and as i've only just come to understand on the deprecation notice and will look to slowly migrate to the recommended app over time.

The app you are currently using has been created by Atlassian. It is not an app by Mobility Stream, we are just pointing out an alternative.
1. This is a question for Atlassian, as it is maintained by them.
2. Please create a ticket for Atlassian support: https://support.atlassian.com/
3. Makes sense. Atlassian might help you to make it work again, if not, you have an alternative.
Kind regards,
The Mobility Team

Hi @MobilityStream ,
thanks for the feedback but I tried to raise a ticket in https://support.atlassian.com/ but I can't find the right option (see screenshot attached)
Can you kindly please guide me to the the right path or PIC?

Hi @alvin_oh , thanks for the screen. Please select the second option and submit the ticket. If there is any ambiguity about why you are opening the ticket, you can resolve that with the agent after the ticket is opened.
Best wishes

Hey @alvin_oh , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
Please can you clarify which app you're using?
For example, if you're using this app, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225926/google-sheets-for-jira , I would recommend you to check out the product documentation or open up a ticket to the vendor to ask for help https://appsplus.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SUPPORT/pages/1323958279/Embed+Apps+for+Confluence+Jira
Best wishes

It's this Google Sheets app from Atlassian. I am running into the same issue.
