Why can't I edit the Comments field on a transition screen?

I've created a transition screen which brings up the Comments box.

I've set a Validator to ensure that something gets typed in here.

When I transition and Issue from "In Progress" to "Feedback Required", the transition screen appears but I cannot type into the Comments box.

Any ideas why this might be?

I just found out that if I close out of the issue, wait 5 seconds and then refresh the browser, I can edit the comments next time I transition the issue.

Do I need to run a post-function when moving this issue around to do something to refresh the database?

For anyone else looking for an answer to this, I think you just need to wait a little while after adding the new screen.
