Why can't I create issues under new projects

chinenye April 9, 2021

After creating a software project, I cannot find the project in the dropdown when trying to create issues in the backlog. Older projects come up but for the past few weeks, new projects created don't show up.

Hi chinenye,

I would check the Project Roles and see who has "Browse" permission. It sounds like you do not have permission to Browse the project, therefore cannot create new or see anything in that project.
However if you are an admin you can check what Permission scheme is being used on that project and how the Users and Roles are being applied against that.

Cheers

CJ

Also, you'll need to check the "create issue" permission.

Thank you so much! @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- and @CJ Edwards

This totally worked for me. I'm an admin and have never had any issues creating issues. I guess the default permission scheme was updated.

Thanks again!!
