Why can I not see Features in my backlog?

My filtered board, backlog tab shows no tickets in my Design sprint. 

 

Then if I go to the same filter and board, but click on the List view. I can see 2 feature type tickets in the Design sprint. How can I see all tickets in the backlog? The backlog tab seems to be filtering out features.

 

To troubleshoot, we updated the filter to be very simply, only this:

project = REP

,but still no luck to get the tickets to appear.
