Why are the Start and End Dates not auto-pulling from the Epic ticket into the Advanced Roadmap?

Peter Yoon May 14, 2021

How do I connect the Start Date and End Date fields to the Road Map/Timeline in Advanced Roadmaps?

In the Jira Epic ticket, I inputted a Start Date. However, the start date is not auto-populating within Advanced Roadmaps.

Thank you!

Hi @Peter Yoon,

The start and end dates in your plan are based on custom fields you configure in your plan settings:

By default, these are Start date and Due date, but you can update those. Make sure to check you have configured the correct custom fields.

Two additional things:

  • although updates in Jira don't require any additional steps to reflect in real time, there may be a short delay before they appear. Refreshing your browser window may help.
  • if you have multiple scenarios of your plan, only one is your current scenario, connected to your current Jira data. If that is the case, make sure that you are looking at that current scenario.

Hope this helps!
