What is the security risk of having the general, advanced configurations restricted to OnDemand users?

All of these items would be very beneficial is making the installation more end-user focused such as:

Ability to change the CLONE prefix (we using the cloning feature alot because we store templates in Jira. So, we spend an inordinate amount of time editing each item individually just to remove the word CLONE)

Defining the date format picker is helpful based on how dates/datetimes are managed and worked within within your user base.

Ability to define columns and sort order based upon how the end user actually utilizes it based on the implementation.

I understand the need to restrict certain settings due to potential security issues; but, these types of configurations don't seem to be threatening.

Hi Kalynn,

Due to the how the OnDemand platform is implemented, we had to restrict the entire page. We are working to improve the functionality to allow for more direct customization by users in the future, but for now, you can request some of these changes be made on the fly @ support.atlassian.com. Please note though, also because of the current platform implementation, some of these settings can be overwritten during onDemand platform upgrades.

Cheers,

Gary
