Hi - We are going to purchase Jira for our company (we already have Confluence) but I have a question regarding what happens once it's been purchased. Will a link for Jira show up instantly in the hamburger menu? Will it be accessible to everyone or do permissions need to be established by an administrator? My concern is that team members will see that we have Jira, jump right in and start creating projects. I've gone through documentation but couldn't find information pertaining to Jira visibility after it's been purchased.
Thanks!
Usually Jira provides access to both Jira Software and Confluence 'users' groups to those who have atlassian account ie account in <your company>. atlassian.com. I guess, when you purchase Jira software the Confluence users will be able to create 'Team based projects' and issues. (not sure though)
However, the Atlassian Site Administrator in your company should be able to grant/remove access to 'users' vs 'Jira Admins's .
Best wishes,
