My organization is currently using JIRA software for product management and bug tracking. While setting up my profile, I encountered a bug and want to report it. Where can I report the bug ? Will I get paid for it. Moreover, will I get paid for any suggestions I give ?
Hello @Rahul Rohera
Additionally to the answer above, notice that we have a public portal where we track our known bugs of Atlassian applications:
https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/
Using the search bar (JQL syntax), you can search for all the known bugs reported for Atlassian applications, just like you do when searching for issues in your own Jira site. Additionally, the bugs reported there have details of its root cause, steps to reproduce, and any available workarounds.
That being said, take a look at the link to ensure the bug you are facing isn't already reported, also checking its details to know if they can be solved or avoided.
@Atlassian BC Are there any monetary benefits for the person reporting a bug/suggestion in 'Jira Software'?
Kindly clarify the same.

Welcome to community.
Please use this link to report your bug: https://support.atlassian.com/
EDIT: @Florian is right. If it is a security issue that meets Atlassian’s definition of a vulnerability, please use the link below:

as far as I know there is a bug bounty (I think it’s still running) where you might get some refund for security issues. Bugs that do not interfere with security or not part of this.
My experience with the support is more or less disappointing. What a user might categorize as a bug might be a feature request from the perspective of Atlassian. They usually review and triage things and finally they drop it. Even hundreds of votes from the community for specific topics cannot make them move. I can imagine that they have a massive load of input every day and they want to keep their products on the road map. So I can understand this policy a little bit. Never the less there is space for improvement.
But if you really think you have found a bug that is worth to be called a bug PLEASE post it. Not to get a refund but to hopefully make the product better for everyone. If the bug gets fixed you might not get money but a better product that fits your needs plus the satisfaction that you are part of something bigger.
It’s not all about money.
