Where are Jira data centers located for US-based clients/users?

I know Jira has data centers in the US, Australia and Ireland. How do I know where the data centers are located for my company's instance of Jira? Is it safe to assume they're in the US if we're a US-based client/user group?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Marina,

Atlassian is not officially communicating on that even if, you're right, there are servers based in the US and European Union.

It would make sense to host customers as close as possible from their physical location. If you want to ensure where your site is hosted, there are Chrom extensions which can help you identify where the page you're visitin is hosted (I use "IP Domain Country Flag"). If you,re a bit more technical you might use traceroute to find the IP and locate it :)

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Micky!
