When will the LookupIssues function be available for due date field (Automation) ?

Hi,

It appears that the LookupIssues function is not available for the due date field.

Could you please tell us when this function will be available ?

FYI : I'm currently working on Jira v9.12.5 (Data Center)

It is unlikely the community will be able to answer that question.  Here is the open suggestion to add the other fields for Lookup Issues with Jira Data Center's automation rules.  You may vote for / watch it to see progress.  https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JIRAAUTOSERVER-877

When the Lookup Issues action was added for Jira Cloud, it only had about a dozen fields provided.  About a year later, all of the others were added.  Perhaps the same will happen for Data Center.

While waiting, there are two possible workarounds, depending upon your needs:

• When you only need to access / summarize the fields for a message or email
  • Use the bulk handling feature of Scheduled triggers or Branches: https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation/run-a-rule-against-issues-in-bulk-993924653.html
• When you need the data to update an issue (e.g., set the date in an Epic based on child issues)
