Hello folks,
We are planning to use JIRA as our project management tool, but I have some questions and coulnd't find the answers online.
First, usually our projects start as a ticket on our CRM, then after some analysis it is turned into a project and goes to another queue. is is possible to turn a Jira Service Management ticket into a a card on Jira Software?
Second, our clients are used to check their projects status. Is there any way to do it using JIRA Sogtware? Maybe a webpage with the projects requested by them.
And third, can we track the time each card passes on each status?
Thanks in advance
My advice is to use Jira dashboards for tracking your projects. They can be customized based on your needs, info is in real time and they can be shared with other people.
Our Great Gadgets app offers a complete set of dashboard gadgets that you can use in combination with the default Jira's gadgets to build powerful dashboards for both software development projects (in Jira Software) and service desk / support teams (in Jira Service Management).
Take a look over these articles from our blog to make an idea:

Hi @Infraestrutura e Suporte ,
Adding the answers below:
First, usually our projects start as a ticket on our CRM, then after some analysis it is turned into a project and goes to another queue. is is possible to turn a Jira Service Management ticket into a a card on Jira Software? : Yes, you can get the tickets into a JSM project, and use another Jira software project's Scrum or Kanban board just to visualize the JSM tickets. Another alternative to this is using the Incoming email integration in Jira. You can pipe the tickets directly into the Jira project using this.
Second, our clients are used to check their projects status. Is there any way to do it using JIRA Sogtware? Maybe a webpage with the projects requested by them. : If they want to view live status reports then granting them a seat in your tool. If there are a few marketplace add-ons that might help this use case.
And third, can we track the time each card passes on each status? :Easiest way for this was using an add-on called Status reports Free. You can use the Jira Export in Excel but it is quite a task to skim thru the excel. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222051?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
