What's in the JIRA Home Directory?

timrmoore July 12, 2011

I'm migrating and upgrading JIRA (3.11 to 4.3.4) and the original installation has all the indexes, attachments, backups etc. in the install directory!!

When installing the new version, I've set JIRA Home as a seperate folder from the install dir.

So, the question is, what's in the Home directory (what do I need to copy out of the old install directory into the new home directory before I import my XML data into the new version)?

Here's the page in the docs that lists everything important to JIRA and where it lives on the file system, in 4.3.x - http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA043/Important+Directories+and+Files

I should add, any plugins that worked with 3.11 will be version 1 plugins and should stay in the JIRA installation directory, not moved to JIRA Home.
