What is the difference between creating a "scrum", "bug tracking" "kanban" and "agility" project?

Before you can do anything in jira, you have to create a project. you have to chose between one of the above types for SW, but there is no help or info what the difference is, so we can choose. Also, we need to know if you can switch between one and another type.

We have tried scrum, and did not get on with it, and also dont want to be forced to go the kanban route.  We have never heard of agility, so are left with "bug tracking".

If we chose bug tracking, will we lose all the other features?  Is there any help/info on this?

Hi John

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/configuring-a-project-764477948.html

is a good place to start as there is a short overview of the different options.

Generally speaking - regardless of which option you choose - you can adjust workflows, screen schemes etc. later on as you might need it
