What is the correct filter to use to limit issues to one Board only?

Hi team,

New to JIRA and to the JQL language!

I am using the Classic JIRA- Scrum version, and for some reason an issue within 1 epic is appearing on all my boards and sprints on all the boards. I want to make it so that an issue I open while on a board will ONLY go to that board and ONLY appear on that board's sprints and back log.

Is there a way to do this? It's through the filters right?

What is the correct filter formula to use?

Thank you Dave. Based on other answers, what I"m looking for seems to be possible by customizing the query to the boards. I would appreciate some help in this context :)

It would be best to spend a little time and read over the documentation on managing boards. This will give you a good high level understanding of how things work. Also read over the "In this section" right side bar docs.

Essentially, they way things work is that you build a JQL query that contains the issues that you want on the board and set that as your filter.  If you want to display a subset of those results, you can use Quick Filters.
