What happens after my 14 day trial?

Heidi Espinosa July 5, 2024

Hello!

I need help with my JIRA Service Management situation. After my 14 day premium trial expired, it deactivated my site. My intention was not to keep the premium version; In fact, it already reduces the number of users to less than 10 to return to the free version. However, now I'm lost on how to get my site back and all the data it had on it. My main concern is a $100 bill I received, but the company never intended to purchase this service, we always planned to handle everything for free.

I appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide me in this situation.

Thank you!

Hi Acinco - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This happened to me last month with one of my demo/test sites. Open a support ticket with Atlassian and explain what happened and request a refund of the bill if they have already charged you. If they have not, then if you still have access, you should downgrade the subscription to either Free or Standard (you will still need to pay for this).

Hello @Heidi Espinosa

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

This page details how to reactivate a deactivated subscription:

https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/reactivate-a-subscription/

If you have an outstanding bill you will like need to pay that bill first. You can reach out to the Billing and Licensing team at:

https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/

Also note that for JSM the maximum number of licensed users is 3 JSM  Agents, not 10. You can have an unlimited number of Customer users though.
