What do the icons mean

For example, a checkmark in a green circle appears next to some issues but not others in the same epic.  Is there a documentation page explaining what they all mean? If so I can't find it.

Thank you. How comes that some stories in status "done" do not have this green ticks?

And exactly the ones who have not the green tick disappear from the roadmap view???

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The status is not really very relevant here.  Jira can look at two things to determine "done"

  • Most of Jira uses "the resolution field is not empty" to say "this is done" (note that Jira displays unresolved when the field is empty, but any value, including "unresolved", "not done", "needs more work" and so on, means the issue is resolved and hence done)
  • Jira Software's Scrum boards do not look at resolution, they look at "is the issue in the last column on the board?".  By definition, if it is, then it is done.  If it is any other column, then it is not done.

The stories with the green ticks are "done", the others are not.
