Web panel condition based on issue status

Hi all, 

I am trying to create a small app which should display web panel in issue view screen only on predefined status. I've tried setting issue properties, but using it I need to refresh the issue page every time after the status is selected. Any ideas

I am not sure whether you are trying to build a connect app for Jira Cloud or a plugin for Jira Server and I might as well not be the right person to answer development questions, however, if this is indeed a connect app for Jira Cloud, then you may want to review the below documentation pages:

1. Connect conditions 
2. Jira expressions 
3. Jira expressions types  (or, for your specific case: status: Jira expressions types: IssueStatus  )

Specifically:

• in the #1 documentation page, in the section named jira_expression condition, there is an example showing how to display a web element based on some issue conditions.
• Then in #2 you have syntax, semantics and examples for Jira Expressions.
• Finally in #3 you have more details on the Jira Expression for the issue status.

Otherwise, in case this is for Jira Server, you may want to review below threads on the same topic (some of them are a bit old and might be outdated):
