Please direct me to proper location to pose questions like this for admin of Jira. We want to provide a simple user-friendly interface for non-tech users to create Jira Issues, is there a specific integration flow/URL format that I need to provide to the customer-facing app to enable this? Any details on this would be appreciated
@koteswararao : For many non-tech users I've managed to convince them to use the Mobile App of Jira... super handy, no need for additional development or add-ons and it has a 100% success rate.
It's also as easy as Click,Click,GO! plus if they're feeling adventurous they can add more details via the 'Show all fields"
Are you non-tech users fellow colleagues, clients, or both??
Yes, really working nicely on the Mobile App for us

Hi,
or you can use an Issue collector to add a simple form on any page you are already own, might be the intranet of your company or other pages.
You can find it in the project settings and then use Issue collectors to configure the form you want to have.
or you can use the rest API in your app to create an issue: https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/rest-apis/

If the current interface doesn’t work where someone clicks on the “+” to create an issue and fill in the blanks I’m not sure what solution would meet you needs. Maybe a JSD solution rather than JSW? What are you finding challenging about the current issue creation for your non technical users? Understanding that might help me offer a better solution/answer.

You talk about a customer facing app. Are you looking for an add on to interface with JIRA? If so, have you talked with your cloud provider to see it that is possible? I've always used server and it has an API, but I don't know if the cloud instance allows that.
JIRA allows for a create screen that is presented at issue creation. Just putting the fields on the create screen the user needs to enter to create the issue should be enough. Even non-tech people have filled out online shopping forms so creating a basic issue shouldn't be difficult. JIRA doesn't provide any other way to modify the UI.
