We have configured project using EMail hander. Issue's are created successfully.

customer wants the assigne the issues multiple users or groups.

 

Could you provide solution for the above query

 

Would it be possible to build into JIRA a function whereas when we log in we have a notifications banner? By this I mean that on a personal level we would have notifications when someone has commented on a ticket that is assigned to us, added further information to a ticket or moved it to a different queue?

Jira does not have multiple assignees.  The assignee is a single person to prevent the (guaranteed) problem that "someone else was doing it"

You will need to add a custom field to capture multiple associated groups or users.

Jira notifies people according to the notification scheme and puts stuff into the activity streams.
