Hello @venkatesh penumuchu 

Are you using Jira Server or Jira Data Center, and which version?

Do you have the Automation for Jira app installed/enabled in your instance? This is something that could be done with an Automation Rule using that feature.

You could also look at exporting the issue data to a CSV format, modifying the exported data in another tool to copy the data from one field to another in the CSV file, and then using the Import from CSV feature to update the existing issues.
