Viewing a Fisheye / Git branch under Jira

My company is using Git (front ended with Fisheye / Crucible) and Jira for managing our tickets.

We are already using meta data in our commit messages so we can't really do anything to change the format.

The branch name is equal to Jira point name. Is there a ready way to automatically have the associated branch display in Jira when viewing the point without writing a custom plugin? If so, how?

@s2s - sorry, point=ticket or issue ID. Some of the language from our old system is coming through.
