Hello, does anyone use Jira as a process management tool to manage improvement tasks overall across products/services etc?
I work in operations and have many things come my way to improve, some things are ways of working and some things are technical changes. When it comes to technical things, we of course follow demand processes to raise changes to those products teams. My team is not a product team.
I am looking for a tool to track all inquiries and their statuses so I wondered if Jira would be a good tool for this. I currently use MS planner with my team for this and they create ms projects if the task is large and longer than 90 days to accomplish.
Yes, you can use Jira to manage improvement tasks and inquiries across various areas like operations, products, or services. It allows you to create custom workflows to track progress, custom issue types for different kinds of tasks, and dashboards for an overview of all tasks. It’s a flexible tool that helps you track everything in one place and automate repetitive processes, making it a good upgrade from MS Planner if you need more control and reporting.
