I have a project that contains many epics and stories. I've created custom fields specific to this project and these fields have been populated. I want to get all the fields for all stories and epics within this project and create a power bi dashboard with this data. Is this possible using the Jira API?

Hi @ak385018

Yes, it is possible to access your project's data, including custom fields, using the Jira REST API and then export it to Power BI. You can try to find a detailed solution in this Atlassian Community topic.

Alternatively, if you'd rather not handle the complexity of API integration, you might consider using marketplace apps that simplify this process. Our app, BI Exporter for Jira | PRO, allows you to export data, including custom fields, directly to Power BI without needing to code or manually handle API requests.

If you have any specific questions or run into issues, feel free to reach out!
