I have created a scrum board in one of my project but one of my team member is not able to view the board, that user is project admin of this project and also able to view all the issues in that project but not able to view the board, I have added that user in the board administrators list but still facing the same issue.
Please let me know what I am missing here.
Hi Adriano,
Make sure the board filter is shared with the user.
Hi @Adriano Rocha As the user is already have access to the project and able to see all the issues in that project, so there is no changes required on the project permission.
Second thing you can check is as the boards using the filters to show the issues belong to that filter, so to view that board user need a access to the underline board filter to view that board, you can follow the below steps to check if filter is shared with the group/project/user user belongs to.
Check the board to see if it is appropriately shared with the user - Board settings > General > edit filter shares > FIlter details > Edit Permissions
Add the user, group that user belongs to or project where the board is created as user already have access to that project
Once the user is able to view the filter used in that board then they should be able to view the board as well.
Please check the attached screenshot for the steps to update the filter share.
Note- Even the user is board administrator the user still need an access to the filter to view the board.
Regards
Ravina
