User Stories appearing on Kanban board but not on Scrum board

Hi guys, I´m having an issue seeing my US on a scrum board. I´m using a Kanban board where I have my Epics and associated User Stories created, this one is for Product Roadmapping. Then I assign each US on this board to a scrum team. And then I filter on each team scrum board those US assigned to the specific team. But, the thing is, I can see the epic on the Scrum board but not the US included on the epic. Is anyone having a similar issue?

Hi @Olivia Medina and welcome to the Community!

There can be a couple of things playing a role here. First thing that comes to mind is to have a look at the column mappings on you scrum board - make sure that all statuses are mapped to a column - most specific is having the first status you would like to plan sprints from (which represents the backlog) to the first column on the board.

Apart from that, have a look at your board filter through the issue navigator to make sure the issues are visible there. If not: have a good look at the filter first.

If those pointers are not helping, do share more information about your configuration so we can get a better idea of what you've set up and what might be causing this.

Hi @Walter Buggenhout thank you for the quick response. I solved it with the mapping status you mentioned, Thank you so much.  I previously checked the filter and it gave me the correct results on the navigator. But then I checked and saw the new status for the kanban under the unmapped status, and voilá. Problem solved. Thanks again.

How exactly are you assigning each US to a scrum team? Are you setting a field? What field are you setting?

What is the filter for the scrum board where the Epic is displaying but not the child issues?
