User Picker (Multi) Automation --> Automatically create a comment that tags users selected

Hello! I am in a company-managed project.

I want to utilize the custom user picker (multi) field named "Channel Leads"

I would like for a comment to go out once the task is created and the leads are selected.

"@ selected users, Please create your channel tickets below"

hi @Breanna Williams ,

You can achieve that using automation rule (check illustration below)

  • The clue here is to create advancing branching using smart value to store the leads.

{{issue.Channel Leads}} and name it lead (channel leads is your field name)

  • loop over it and add a comment with this code [~accountid:{{lead}}]
  • Create a test ticket to test the functionality.

Good Luck and let me know how it went for you

Cheers,

Karim
