Use port other than 443 for httpss webhooks

Leon George December 14, 2020

The documentation states that https has to be used for webhooks and it has to be using a globally trusted CA.
so i made that happen and tried to add the webhook URL..
https://redacted:444/redacted/redacted

but i get the following error message:
"Webhooks can only use the standard 443 HTTPS port."

is this a leftover check to avoid non-encrypted use and is there a way it might be changed?

Hi @Leon George  on Cloud that's the only allowed port for https.

ok. let's hope SNI or IPv6 works then so i don't need a new machine.
