Upload documents to Jira Cloud from SharePoint using Power Automate

Laura Franklin November 15, 2024

2024-11-11 16_22_37-Power Automate.pngI’m looking for some assistance with a Power Automate flow. I need to upload a file to Jira from SharePoint. The document is initially saved in SharePoint from a Microsoft Forms submission.

Here’s a brief overview of what I’m trying to achieve:

  1. A user submits a form via Microsoft Forms.
  2. The form response is saved as a document in a SharePoint library.
  3. I need to create a Power Automate flow that uploads this document to a specific Jira issue.

I’ve managed to set up the flow to save the form response to SharePoint, but I’m stuck on the part where the file needs to be uploaded to Jira. Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated!

I'm either getting errors or the flow is hanging at the loop.

Hi @Laura Franklin , thanks for your question. If you haven't already done so, I would post this question also in a Microsoft forum like this one https://community.powerplatform.com/#dynamicsproductsdivid just to get some input from the Microsoft side.

I also found this video tutorial on YouTube that might be off some help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0XvNArK3fs

Best wishes
