Hello all,
I'm on 8.20.0 LTS version of Jira Software and Jira Core. It is time to update to the latest version.
From my past memory I don't think I can jump straight from 8.20.0 to 8.20.27...
So, must I do:
8.20.0 -> 8.20.1
8.20.1 -> 8.20.2
...
8.20.26 -> 8.20.27???
Hi @charleslcso
As you are just applying, patch for version 8.20 you can go from 8.20.0 to 8.20.7
If you want detailed information check them out here, all details on each version are listed
I would recommend to update to LTS 9.4 as support is ending on Jira Server in Feb 2024
@Marc Koppelaar upgrading to LTS 9.4 might need to upgrade database version too. It is scary and it requires lots of testing before I can apply it to Production.
I'll update to 8.20.27 first. If things go smooth, then I can consider upgrading to 9.4.x.
Thank you.

Greetings,
I dont believe you need any upgrade steps in between, since your not changing major or minor versions.
Unfortunately, i found no explicit mention of this on any upgrade path documentation, so i'll not promise my somewhat outdated knowledge holds any water, just adding an opinion.
regards
