Unable to link Initiative to Epic

I am unable to link Initiative to Epic, I can't use the Epic link in the Initiative and the Epic link on the Epic cannot be linked to an initiative (it says you cannot link an epic to an epic) . I tried to use the Issue lint (making the Initiative a parent of the Epic) it doesn't reflect on the plan/Roadmap.

Hi @Ayo Ayoola,

To link an Epic to an Initiative you need to use the Parent Link field (rather than the Epic Link field). Advanced Roadmaps introduces the Parent Link field that makes it possible to create additional hierarchy levels above Epic.

The Epic Link is only used to link Epics to Stories.

You'll need to add the Parent Link field to your issue detail screens to be able to use it outside of a plan.

Did it work for you? Cos even with the addition of the parent link in the issue ticket, I am not able to link my initative.
