After filtering out tickets on Jira, I want to export them to google sheets to perform my tasks. The system just shows a blank excel sheet but doesn't import any ticket details from JIRA

Perhaps it's an permission issue from the google side. I would recommend that you remove Google Access to JIRA using this link and try again to view your data. This will renew the authorization and re-configure the permissions.
I tested it from my side using Firefox and it's working fine.

it does ask for the verification code after removing Google access to Jira. Not sure to whom it goes.. but i don't see it on my mail (assumption).

@Makarand Khairnar when you click "Open in Microsoft Excel" button, it will open another tab and you can find the verification code in the original tab (JIRA Tab) as shown below.
