Unable to enable XRAY plugin for Jira

Hello,

 

We getting bellow error while we try to enable XRAY plugin for Jira. Has anyone faced the same issue?

Hi @Kazim Baig 

as your screenshot pointing out you are trying to run a version that considers Jira to be version 9.x

see the following link for version history/dependency:

Nevertheless there is a version of 6.2.8 to run against v8 Jira. Just choose the jar file of xray that matches the version of your jira instance.

You need to look into {{ jira home }}/log/atlassian-jira.log to find out more details. Plugins can fail to enable, the log will likely point you in the direction why it failed.

 

However, Xray being a long and stable commercial app, it didn't just stop working all of a sudden - have there been any changes to your instance? e.g. new plugins, version upgrades, different db, java, etc.

one thing I would check is the version of your Jira instance. Is it running DataCenter license version 9.x ?

We are on version 8.22.0 (Commercial (Data Center))
