I am unable to change the issue type in jira from story to something else. when you hover over it, it says you do not have permission to do this in this project. Rest all the issues types can be changed. I check the permisions also seems to be fine. Can you tell me the steps which i can perform to resolve this issue
Yes i am on a company managed project. I even checked the project settings seems to be fine i believe. Is there anything wrong here as such
@Tom George Menachery Are you definitely added to one of those SMS/RMS roles that has this Move Issues permission? You can check this under Project Settings > People

Hi @Tom George Menachery , welcome to the Community. If you are able to change the issue type on some types in the same project then the issue likely is that the workflows are different and you need to use the Move function. This can be found under the more (...) menu. Can you try that?

Can you look under Project settings > Permissions and check the Move issues permissions? Feel free to share screenshots. Oh and are you on a Company Managed project here?
