Hello, would you be so kind and finally fix uploading of videos to tickets? Currently, you retrieve general error that you cannot save it.
We pay a lot for your product, I would expect at least basic level of service. Explanations such as "do not upload such a big video" (100mb!!!!) are just laughable - you could adjust the video, you can tell the user that such a big video is not uploadable, yet you do nothing.
Would you be so kind and finally fix this basic think?
Hi @Ladislav Prchal ,
It is possible to upload video files to Jira. However there are limitations regarding the file size.
By default, Jira has a file attachment size of limit 10MB and this can be customized by Jira administrators modifying the Jira configuration.
Please note that large attachments can impact the performance of your Jira instance.
Excellent, sounds great, why does the error message say general error line, instead of telling me, what is wrong? Ie:
"Your video is too big, we are unable to save it. Adjust the video limit with your Jira Administrator or click here to decreese quality".

Jira directly doesn't serve the feature to provide detailed error message as the attachment upload could have failed for several reasons,
However you can setup custom notifications whenever an upload fails using Jira Automation or Scriptrunner event based mail notification.

That is so great. So now I have added a long comment, lots of small videos that shouldnt be over the gap and yet I get error.
So I am now wasting my time trying to remove->save->putback->move to next video.
Would you be so kind and not accept video that is not going to be saved?
When you were desigining it, did you thought this is the good practice how to upload thinks? Not to inform user that there is something wrong and wait for him to waste time?

Excellent, in the end I had to remove all videos and reupload them hoping it will help. Absolute pleasure working with Jira. Totally gonna recommend it.

Yet another problem with videos!
At this release, video is uploaded, acepted, yet it is EMPTY and cannot be played!
You are worsing it with every release. But the important think is that there is a prompt "What do you want to do next". THAT definetivelly should be top focus, right?
