Unable to Unlock the Rank feild.

Hi Team,

 

I was unable to unlock the 'Rank' field in Jira Cloud Instance.

Please find the attached snapshot for your reference.Rank field.PNG

Please help me on this at the earliest.

Hi @Nagavenkateswararao Soma  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, that is a system field and should not be modified. Plus it is an extremely complicated process that Jira uses to populate the Rank field behind the scenes. 

There is a Global Rank type custom field if you are interested in that. 

However, the real question is What are you trying to do that needs you to modify the Rank field?
