Background:
We have a bug/story workflow as follows:
Backlog->Ready for Development->In Progress->Ready for PR Review->Ready for Product Review->Ready for Deployment->Closed
All statuses can transition to every other status.
I have not made any updates to issues, workflows, or transitions since early February.
Problem:
Today one of my developers discovered that she was unable to transition a story to Ready for PR Review.
The status does not appear in the dropdown on issue view and when you try and drop and drag the issue in board view you get an error "Something isn't letting us move EDDY-144 to Ready for PR Review. Ask your administrator to check the workflow and transition settings."
This appears to be only happening for this one issue, all other bugs and stories can still transition as normal. Any idea what's causing this?
@Jayme Rabenberg Welcome to community.
Where is the issue in the workflow? Can you share an image of the workflow and the status the issue is in. It has to be something with the workflow and I would suggest looking at the workflow on the issue to see what is going on.
@Brant Schroeder Thank you.
I was sure it was the workflow as well, even though I hadn't made any changes and I'm the only admin, I also looked at the change history and confirmed that was still the case.
After determining that the workflow hadn't changed, I looked at other stories and bugs and the workflow is still working correctly there - again only this single story has this problem.
Here are the workflow options that appear in the specific story-Note there is no Ready for PR Review status:
Here is the workflow - the Ready for PR Review status appears here.
And here are the workflow options on the very next issue of the same issuetype - the Ready for PR Review status also appears here.

OK, thanks for the additional information. What happens if you transition it to another status? Does the new status appear? If not then my guess is something is messed up with the issues index. Can you move the issue to a different issue type and workflow and then move it back to see if it gets all the statuses associated with it.
