The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized

Hey,

I started getting a (401) error when attempting to access the jira rest api, the error started happening a couple of weeks ago though it had been working fine for years previously. 

I've had a look at the last couple of updates to jira and didn't notice anything directly related to a change with the authentication, I was a unable to spot any changes in the rest api documentation either.

Any ideas?

Any basic fetches is also not working?(eg:issuekey details via GET)?
